Vietnam’s PM: defend the fatherland’s sacred sovereignty
Vietnam’s second termed Prime Minister of the Socialist Republic Nguyen Tan Dung, in post since 2006, has sent text messages to millions of Vietnam citizens saying “defend the fatherland’s sacred sovereignty.” The message was disseminated through one of Vietnam’s network provider.
Prime Minister Dung also called officials on all levels to prevent further riots and violent protests. He ordered law enforcement agencies across the country to punish extremists who starts destabilization and rioters, and called on the people not to commit illegal acts.
Vietnam’s Dung said Vietnamese protesters are only doing their part in demonstrating their patriotism minus the arson and killings started by Vietnamese extremists who according to him are troublemakers.
