Binay confirmed running for president, MVP his VP

Vice President Jejomar Binay confirmed his candidacy for presidential race this coming May 2016 National Election. Also, Binay is considering PLDT owner Manny V. Pangilinan as his running mate for VP position.

“You know that is not a rumor because the day after the election, because of the intimidations coming from the media. Because they were asking are you going to run by 2016 and I said yes. I don’t want to be a hypocrite. I had that dream of becoming President,” said the Vice-president.

In the recent Pulse Asia survey, Binay topped the list of preffered presidential candidate garnering 40% of the votes. On the other hand, Grace Poe was the second with 15% of votes according to 1200 respondents.
